Bronx CB7 Board Member Monjour Choudhury along with several other Bronx Bangladesh Community Leaders hosted the 2017 Iftar Celebration, “Breaking Bread With Our Community Leaders Celebration”.  Adaline Walker Santiago, Bronx CB7 Chair was also in attendance showing support of the Islamic social event, which involved family, friends and community members breaking their fast, all came together and shared a festive meal as one.family.

Community Board 7 hosted its second annual ‘Bus Tour of Our District’ on Saturday, June 4. CB 7 members and guests embarked on a day long trek to visit areas of the community the board has been working as well as projects currently in development or in the planning stages. Such notable destinations included the Tracey Towers, Concourse Rail Yard, Poe Cottage, Serviam Gardens Senior Complex and Kingsbridge Armory among many others. Read More

True Colors Housing For LGBTQIA Youth Opens In The Bronx

West End Residences: September 09.2015 

True Colors Bronx is a replica of our original and highly successful True Colors Residence in Harlem, which is New York City’s first permanent, affordable housing residence with on-site support services specifically for LGBT youth with a history of homelessness.
